Less manual. More making.

Everything below fits on one screen. If you need a PDF, we over-scoped the product.

Prompts

  • Write like you’re briefing a co-producer, not a search engine. Tempo, mood, and sections go in the same message.
  • Tighter prompts → fewer surprises. Vague adjectives are where generic output lives.

The project

  • Melodex is a project: tracks, regions, and MIDI you can open and change. The model proposes; you own the timeline.
  • Edits are scoped. Ask for a section change, not a full rewrite, when you like what you already have.

Export

  • Stems are yours. Take them to another DAW, a video tool, a game engine — the format doesn’t own your work.

When things go wrong

  • Check the connection first. The local interpreter keeps basic playback running when the API is unavailable.

Deep API and Studio-tier topics stay in the product. This page is the on-ramp.
